LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Towson track & field team competed in two days of the Bison Outdoor Classic at Bucknell University on Saturday and Sunday in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
Aubrey Schaffer was the top performer for the Saturday session of the meet, dropping nearly a minute from her previous best time in the 10k to clock a 36:24.02. With this mark she officially becomes the sixth woman in Towson program history to break 37:00 in the event. The junior also now ranks fifth all-time in the record books.
Baara Stewart clocked a 2:15.46 in the 800m invite section, which is less than a second off of her PR set last weekend.
Kelis Milburn ran a PR in the 400m, clocking a 59.58.
Denee Hibbert leapt a distance of 11.82 (W: 2.7) in the triple jump, placing seventh out of 43 athletes.
Princess Asante ran a PR of 25.33 in the 200m, shaving half a second off of her previous best time.
In the 3000m,
Morgan Loewe ran an 11:13.39.
