TOWSON, Md. – The preseason awards keep rolling in for Carter Runyon as he was placed on the 2024 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America First Team, announced on Monday.
 
Runyon is now a Preseason All-American by each Stats Perform and FCS Football Central, also being a Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Preseason All-Conference tight end.
 
In 2023, the Fairfax, Virginia native and transfer from Shenandoah University earned Second Team All-America honors from the Associated Press and STATS Perform.  He also was All-CAA First Team with 43 catches for 549 receiving yards and four touchdowns.  He led all CAA tight ends in receiving yards.
 
Runyon is just one of six CAA players to earn Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America First Team distinction.
