TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's lacrosse team has announced its team captains for the upcoming 2025 season.
Junior midfielder
Valerie Thompson, senior defender
Shannon Sullivan, senior midfielder
Milana Zizakovic, senior attacker
Halley Koras and graduate defender
Cameron Levine are named team captains for the 2025 season.
Thompson made an appearance in 15 games and started in 11 last season. The junior midfielder totaled 11 points this season on six goals and five. Thompson scooped up 12 ground balls and had four multi-ground ball games. She added 11 draw controls and finished four games with two draw controls.
Sullivan was one of nine Tigers to start all 16 games last season. She led the Tigers and ranked third in the CAA in caused turnovers with 29. Sullivan finished eight games with two or more caused turnovers. She totaled a career-high 39 ground balls to rank second on the team and fourth in the conference.
Zizakovic was named to the All-Coastal Athletic Association Second Team last season. She led the Tigers with a career-high 58 points. The senior midfielder had a career-best 44 goals to lead Towson last season. She registered 14 assists and finished five games with multiple assists in five game. Zizakovic registered a point in 15 of the 16 games this season
Koras appeared in all 16 games this season and made two starts. The senior attacker totaled 22 points on 15 goals and a career-high seven assists. She had a season-high three goals against William & Mary. Koras added five ground balls.
Levine is a transfer from Johns Hopkins where she was named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. She is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten players. During her time at Jons Hopkins, she played in 20 games and started in 19. She ranked third on the team in caused turnovers with 22 and added 29 ground balls in 2022.
