NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Towson University track & field team wrapped up the Dr. Sander Scorcher hosted by Columbia on Saturday.
Piper Jons set her second Towson record of the meet, and another top 10 relay mark was set as well.
How it Happened – Track
Rebekka Hillier set a new personal record in the 1 mile run with a time of 5:11.39.
Qiora Rollins placed second in the open 200m dash with a new season best time of 25.34.
Piper Jons set a new program record and won the 200m invitational with her time of 23.60. This is Jons second school record of the meet and third solo record of the season.
Cristal Cuervo (24.08) finished second with
Maya Tucker (24.41) in sixth.
Tucker (56.65), Cuervo (54.90),
Jasmine Scott (58.41), and Jons (53.43) finished fourth in the 4x400 relay invitational with a time of 3:43.39, the second fasted time in Towson history.

Track & field are in Fairfax, Virginia next week from Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1 to compete in the Patriot Games hosted by George Mason University.
