Season Recap:
The Black & Gold started off the 2024-2025 indoor season at the Youree Spence Garcia Invitational hosted by St. Johns. The Tigers finished with 11 PR's, 10 marks in the program top 10 all-time list and six gold medal performances.
Cristal Cuervo set the Towson record in the 300m dash at 38.47, and
Piper Jons set a new Towson benchmark in the 600m with a time of 1:32.17.
At the VCU Indoor Invitational, the Tigers won five events and added four more new times to Towson top-10 record book.
On January 18, Towson won the 60m, 200m, 4x400m and high jump events at the Catholic Track & Field Classic.
At the Dr. Sander Scorcher,
Piper Jons broke the Towson records in the 200m (23.60) and 400m (53.70) dashes. The Tigers also set the program record in the Distance Medley Relay by over 12 seconds.
