Towson Gymnastics Announces Additions for 2027 Season

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University gymnastics team has added four competitors who will start in the 2026 season, signing last week.
 
Each of the four signed national letters of intent (NLI) to begin during the 2026 campaign.  All come to Towson as freshmen.
 
"We are beyond excited to add these incomers to the Tiger family!" said Towson gymnastics head coach Jay Ramirez. "The future is bright for Towson Gymnastics!"
 
In 2025, Towson earned 28 victories, including going a perfect 4-0 in EAGL regular season competitions.  Season tickets are on sale for just $20 for the 2026 Towson home season, including four home meets at SECU Arena.  Fans can purchase season tickets here: https://am.ticketmaster.com/towson/buy/gymseason
 
Siena Commodari – Wilmington, Del./Concord H.S. – Roth CrossPoint Gymnastics
Commodari comes to Towson as the first-ever Delaware native to compete for Tiger gymnastics during Ramirez's tenure.  A DP Nationals qualifier, she has earned 9.5+ scores on vault and beam, including a top-3 finish on beam at regionals.
 
Ava Pizzi – West Chester, Pa./Rustin H.S. – AJS Pancott Gymnastics
Pizzi takes the short 82-mile trek from West Chester to join the Tigers.  She earned top High Level 10 scores on bars (9.700), beam (9.625) and all-around, being sixth on the beam during the 2025 DP Nationals.  Her team finished in second place in region 7 at 2025 DP Nationals.
 
Sydney Schultz – Williamsburg, Pa./Liberty Univ. Online Academy – World Class Gymnastics
From central Pennsylvania comes Schultz, who earned top-10 finished in each floor exercise and vault at the 2025 DP Nationals.  She has earned high scores of 9.875  on floor, 9.775 on vault and 38.350 in all-around.
 
Kyndall Smith – Orlando, Fla./Apopka H.S. – Orlando Metro Gymnastics
From the Sunshine State comes Smith, the runner-up on the all-around at the 2025 Florida State Championships.  The 2025 Region 8 uneven bars champion and runner-up at 2025 DP Nationals has a 9.800 high on bars and 38.175 on all-around.
