FAIRFAX, Va. – The Towson University swim & dive teams competed in the final day of the Patriot Invite hosted by George Mason on Saturday. The men's team held on with record setting swims from
Sean Colson and
Jed Garner to claim Towson's first Patriot Invitational Championship. The women's team wrapped up the meet in second place to cap off a very strong weekend for the Tigers.

- Christian Davidson made it a sweep of the 1650 free for Towson after swimming 15:18.52, the second fastest time in school history.
- Sean Colson reset his previously held meet, pool, and Towson records in the 200 back with a time of 1:42.30. Nathan Decker finished second with a time of 1:45.95.
- Daniel McLaughlin took fifth in the 100 free finals with a time of 44.50.
- Jed Garner set a new Patriot Invite record by over three seconds in the 200 breast with a time of 1:53.19.
- Nicco Gurri placed second in the 200 fly with a time of 1:47.18.
