Virginia Beach, Va. & Boston, Ma. - The Towson University track & field team wrapped up its split-meet weekend on Saturday. The Tigers traveled to the NSU Indoor Pre-Nationals in Virginia Beach, Va. from Feb. 14-15 as well as the Boston University Valentine Invitational in Boston, Ma. on Feb. 15.
Piper Jons (51.85),
Cristal Cuervo (55.10),
Jasmine Scott (56.90) and
Maya Tucker (57.18) secured 2nd place in the 4x400m Relay in Boston with a record-breaking time of 3:41.00 - the fastest in Towson program history.
Jons finished 2nd in the 400m Dash with a time of 54.01. Cuervo placed 9th in the same event with a time of 55.05.Â
Tucker won 1st place in her heat of the 200m Dash Invite with a new personal record of 23.93 - making her the third athlete in Towson history to break 24.00 in this event. Like Tucker, Scott also set a personal record of 56.99 in the 400m Dash.

Qiora Rollins (57.19),
Baara Stewart (57.92) and
Christal Pommells (60.07) run the tenth-fastest 4x400m Relay in program history with a time of 3:52.25.
Freshman
Aniyah Toppin placed 4th in the Triple Jump with a personal record 11.82m, tying her for fifth-all time in this event.
Beyonka Lee also set a personal record 12.50m in Shot Put, taking 5th place.
