Towson Women’s Soccer Welcomes Four Additions

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's soccer announces the addition of four players for the upcoming 2025 season. Riley Matthews, Lea Kvanlid-Kristiansen, Keegan Williams and Jaelyn White will be joining the Black & Gold. 

Riley Matthews | Forward
Salisbury, Md. | James M. Bennet H.S.

Matthews comes to Towson from James M. Bennett High School. She earned First Team All-State honors and was named All Conference Player of the Year in 2024. The forward earned Second Team All-State honors and was named to the First Team Bayside four times. Matthews was named to the National Honors Society twice and the Minds in Motion Scholar Athlete Award three times. She plays for Maryland United FC U18 ECNL.

Lea Kvanlid-Kristiansen | Midfield
Bekkestua, Norway | Dønski Videregående Skole

Kvanlid-Kristiansen comes to Towson from Bekkestua, Norway. She played in 104 matches in the Norwegian football association, where she scored 20 goals. She played club soccer for Strømsgodset TF.
 
Keagan Williams | Goalkeeper
Columbia, Md. | Atholton High School

Williams comes to Towson after being a four-year letterwinner and captain at Atholton High School. She was a three-time Athletic-Regional ID selection for Girls Academy and invited to a US Soccer Youth National Regional ID camp. She plays for Baltimore Armour U18 Girls Academy.

Jaelyn White | Defender
Ashburn, Va. | Broad Run H.S.

White comes to Towson from Broad Run High School. She helped guide Broad Run to the 2022 VHSL 4A Girls Soccer State Championship. The defender earned 2023 VHSL 4A First-Team All District and 2023 VHSL 4A First-Team All Region honors. White was named to the 2023 VHSL All Loudoun County Honorable Mention team. She plays for Virginia Developmental Academy U19 ECNL.
