TOWSON, Md. – In a dual meet of two teams in the top-35 in the Road to Nationals (RTN) rankings, the Towson University gymnastics team thoroughly dominated Ball State with a season-best team score of 196.075.
Towson, coming in at 32 in the RTN rankings, was more than 1.5 points over Ball State, at 34 in RTN, at 194.500. The Tigers won all four events, including season-high marks on the floor at 49.225 and on vault at 49.000.
The Tigers earned individual champions in all four events and the all-around, headlined by the 10
th-highest all-around score in Towson history.
Isabella Minervini notched a 39.300 on the all-around, being the first place finisher on the bars at 9.900 and the vault at 9.875.
Adriana Hoffman earned a career-high 9.900 to win the floor while
Celia Trotter won the beam with a 9.850.
Towson has won its last three meets, finishing out the month of February with a 10-1 record.

- Towson dominated on the final event, notching 9.75+ scores on all six participants. Following the lead-off of Carmella Calafati of 9.775, Towson followed with Isabella DeCroo at 9.800 and Clara Hong at 9.875.
- In the final two, Polina Belanovski matched a career-high with a 9.875, then Adriana Hoffman stunned the crowd by earning a career-high 9.9 to finish out Towson's meet.
Inside the Numbers
- Isabella Minervini has competed in the all-around five times this year, earning three first-place finishes. The 49.300 is a career-high for her and alone for 10th in Towson history plus she earned a career-high on the vault at 9.875.
- Adriana Hoffman's 9.900 on floor ties her for ninth all-time in Towson history on a floor routine, standing with Brissa Portillo in 2024 and Clara Hong in 2022.
- Towson's score of 196.075 is the highest score of the year, surpassing the team's 195.600 earned on Jan. 17.
