TOWSON, Md. – Towson University's Mikey Weisshaar continues to add to his trophy case, being named an Inside Lacrosse Media Midseason Second Team All-American, announced by the publication on Thursday.
 
It is the second-straight season where Weisshaar has been honored as an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American, also being Second Team in 2024.  The midseason All-America list is selected by the Inside Lacrosse staff.
 
The two-time CAA Offensive Player of the Week this year is Towson's points leader with 30 and is tied for the lead in goals with 23.  The junior has earned multiple goals in his last five games, including a combined 11 in the first two Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) games.
 
He also has six caused turnovers on the ride and has 15 ground balls. 
 
Towson hits the road for its next CAA game, playing at Drexel on Saturday, March 29 at noon.
