Towson, Md. - The Towson University track & field team is set to host the Towson Invitational on Mar. 28 and 29. The Tigers welcome 26 teams to Johnny Unitas® Stadium for the event.

Alumni Day & 2023 ECAC Championship Team Recognition
On Mar. 29, Towson will celebrate its alumni and recognize the 2023 Outdoor ECAC Championship team at 12:30 PM, prior to the start of the track events. This team, the first in program history to claim an Outdoor ECAC title, consisted of only 11 athletes. The Tigers secured the championship with a total of 89.5 points, finishing 15.5 points ahead of the runner-up. Their victory was supported by three new school records in the 4x100m relay, 200m and triple jump, along with numerous personal bests.
Last Meet Recap
The Tigers traveled to Orlando, Florida on Mar. 21 and 22 for the Black & Gold Invitational, hosted by University of Central Florida. On day one of competition, Leaann Redlo set a PR of 5.68m in the long jump to take 9th all-time in the event. In the 1500m run,
Baara Stewart and
Lexi Mogensen also set PRs; Stewart's time of 4:38.85 ranked 5th all-time in program history. On day two, six more Tigers entered Towson's all-time list across multiple events.

Jasmine Scott and
Spencer Settle posted a combined time of 3:42.62 in the 4x400m relay, marking the second-fastest time for the event in Towson history.
