Boston, Ma. - The Towson University track & field team is set for competition for the 2025 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Indoor Championships, taking place at Boston University from Mar. 7-9. The Tigers will be competing on the 8th and 9th.

Last Meet Recap
The Black & Gold are coming off a 6th place finish at last weekend's Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Indoor Championships, supported by numerous new all-time marks and several podium finishes including three gold medal performances from
Piper Jons.
Leeann Redlo opened the meet by setting a PR in the Pentathlon, earning a score of 3567 for a second-place finish and securing CAA All-Honors in the event. The junior tied for the all-time CAA and Towson record in the High Jump after clearing 1.78m.
In the 400m finals,
Piper Jons set another record for the CAA and Towson with a time of 52.31. This performance placed Jons 20th in DI for this event. In the 200m finals, Jons set a third Towson and CAA record with a time of 23.20.
Cristal Cuervo finished in third place with a time of 23.73.
In the 4x400m Run finals,
Maya Tucker (57.42),
Cristal Cuervo (54.75),
Piper Jons (54.25) and
Jasmine Scott (55.71) finished in first place with a combined time of 3:42.15.
Leeann Redlo and
Piper Jons were also recognized by the CAA in the awards portion of the meet.
Piper Jons was selected as the Most Outstanding Track Performer of the Championship after setting new CAA records in the 200m and 400m, as well as finishing first in the 4x400m finals alongside
Maya Tucker,
Cristal Cuervo and
Jasmine Scott.
Leeann Redlo was recognized as Most Outstanding Field Performer of the Championship after placing first in the Pentathlon High Jump, taking second place in the Pentathlon overall, and tying for best CAA record in High Jump on day two. Jons' and Redlo's efforts have allowed Towson Track & Field to sweep the MVPs in the 2025 CAA Championships.
