SWAINTON, N.J. – The Towson University Men's Golf team played the second round of the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championships on Monday. The Tigers shot 21-over par (309) in the second round and remain in eighth place entering day three.
Jai Sheth leads the way for Towson through two rounds as the junior sits tied for 22
nd at ten-over par after shooting 75 (+3) in the second round. Sheth was the only Towson golfer to not shoot higher than bogey on any hole in round two.
Ariihau Faana bounced back from shooting 80 in round one to post a 75 (+3) on day two to jump twelve spots in the individual standings and tie for 26
th at eleven-over entering the final round. Faana eagled the par-four tenth hole and led Towson with four birdies in the round.
Sky Aung is also tied for 26
th at eleven-over par entering the third round after shooting 80 (+8) in the second round.
Adam Green shot 79 (+7) for the second straight day to end round two in a tie for 35
th place at fourteen-over. Mike Matheson posted an 81 (+9) in the second round to enter the final round tied for 39
th at sixteen-over par.
