SWAINTON, N.J. – The Towson University Men's Golf team played the final round of the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championship on Tuesday. The Tigers shot eight-over par (296) in the third round behind a 68 (-4) from
Ariihau Faana.
Towson finished the tournament in eighth place overall with a total score of 53-over par (917).
Ariihau Faana shot a 68 (-4) in round three to finish the tournament tied for 13
th at seven-over par. Faana's 68 was the lowest round of the day and equaled the third best round of the tournament. The sophomore also shot his second eagle of the tournament.
Sky Aung posted a 73 (+1) in the third round to end the tournament twelve-over par and in 23
rd place. Aung didn't shoot higher than bogey on any hole over the final eighteen holes.
Jai Sheth shot 77 (+5) on the final day and was the third Tiger to place in the top 25 individually as he ended in 24
th at fifteen-over. Sheth birdied three times in four holes on the back nine, Faana was the only other Tiger to do so.
Mike Matheson shot 78 (+6) in round three to end the tournament 22-over par and in 39
th place.
Adam Green posted 81 (+9) to tie for 40
th at 23-over. Both Green and Matheson birdied multiple holes in every round of the tournament.
