Towson, Md. - Piper Jons and
Leeann Redlo have been named Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Indoor Track & Field Major Award winners, as announced by the league on Thursday.
Leeann Redlo has been named the CAA Field Athlete of the Year. Redlo appears on three top 10 all-time lists in program history (long jump, 60m hurdles, and pentathlon) and holds the school record in the high jump with a mark of 1.80m. In February, she earned CAA Field Athlete of the Week honors after posting a then-personal best 1.76m in the high jump, a mark that ranked 50th nationally and second in the CAA at the time. At the 2025 CAA Indoor Championships, Redlo recorded a personal-best 3567 in the pentathlon, finishing second overall and earning CAA All-Honors. She was also recognized as the Most Outstanding Field Performer of the Meet. Redlo, now a junior, was previously named the 2023 CAA Rookie Athlete of the Year.
Piper Jons has been named CAA Track Athlete of the Year. Throughout the 2024-25 indoor season, Jons set four program records in the 200m, 400m, 600m and 4x400m relay while also securing spots on Towson's top 10 all-time lists in the 60m and 500m. At the 2025 CAA Indoor Championships, Jons shattered both CAA and Towson records in the 200m (23.20) and 400m (52.31), earning recognition as the Most Outstanding Track Performer of the Meet.
