UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Towson University gymnasts
Clara Hong and
Isabella Minervini each competed as individuals in the NCAA Pennsylvania Regional to finish out the 2025 Tiger campaign.
Minervini was on the all-around, notching a 39.350 while Hong competed on the balance beam and got a 9.500.
Each earned their spot as individuals in the NCAA Tournament Regional after having a strong national qualifying score in their respective events. Minervini competed alongside Penn State while Hong competed along with Kentucky.
How it Happened for Towson (in Rotation Order)
- Minervini - Beam (Rotation 1)
- Competing with Penn State, Minervini started out on the beam, hitting her flips and sticking a strong landing. She picked up a 9.800, her second-strongest performance since March 4.
- Minervini – Floor (Rotation 2)
- Starting with the Towson roar in the music, Minervini performed her floor with precision, finishing with a 9.850. It tied her highest floor score since Jan. 11.
- Hong – Beam | Minervini – Vault (Rotation 3)
- Hong took up the beam for her final collegiate event, landing her cartwheels and giving a near-perfect landing. She finished with a 9.500.
- Minervini hit a 9.800 on vault, her fifth 9.8+ score on that event in the last six meets.
- Minervini – Bars (Rotation 4)
- Competing after all the teams had completed, Minervini closed out the bars routines of regional. She narrowly missed out on the podium, hitting a 9.900, her ninth 9.9+ score on bars this year.

- Clara Hong's career comes to a close with today's meet. The 2025 EAGL Scholar-Athlete of the Year finished with 1,436.500 career points.
- Isabella Minervini's 39.350 was her second-highest all-around performance of the season, just behind her 39.400 at the EAGL Championship. Her 9.900 on the bars was tied for fourth in the round, just .025 away from a second-place finish.
- In this round, Michigan State took first with a team score of 197.625, followed by Kentucky at 197.525 as each move on to Saturday's competition. Ohio State was third at 196.400 followed by Penn State at 196.225.
