TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's lacrosse team has two players recognized by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) as 2025 All-Americans, announced on Thursday.
Mikey Weisshaar is Third Team All-American at attack while
Chop Gallagher is an All-America Honorable Mention at midfield. Each repeat as All-Americans this season, with both being honored by USA Lacrosse and Weisshaar also being selected by
Inside Lacrosse.
The All-Americans are nominated and selected by the USILA coaches.
Weisshaar moved from midfield to attack during the season and was Towson's leader in goals with 48 and assists with 24. The junior is tenth in DI in goals per game and 13
th in points per game, having nine games with at least five points this year.
Gallagher has started all 17 games on the first midfield line, tallying up 20 goals, 20 assists and 13 ground balls. The graduate student led Towson in assists for most of the season and has eight games with at least three points scored.
This is the second straight year where Towson players were honored by the USILA. Weisshaar,
Colby Barsz and
Nick DeMaio were all 2024 USILA All-Americans.
