JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Seniors
Cristal Cuervo and
Maya Tucker of the Towson University track & field team capped their senior season on Thursday at the NCAA East Preliminaries.
Maya Tucker kicked off competition for the Black & Gold in the 100m, clocking an 11.57 in the event to finish 7th in her heat. Tucker officially completed her collegiate career with this performance. The senior leaves Towson as the school record holder in the 100m, 4x100m and the 4x400m.
Cristal Cuervo additionally concluded her collegiate career with the Tigers after running a 55.59 in the 400m, finishing 8th in her heat. Cuervo departs Towson holding program records in the 200m, 300m, 400m, 4x100m, 4x400m and Distance Medley Relay.
