Women’s Basketball Adds DiClemente, Boboshko to Coaching Staff

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball coaching staff has made two additions ahead of the 2025-26 season, announced by Head Coach Laura Harper on Tuesday afternoon.

Tony DiClemente comes to Towson after four seasons at Army West Point. The New York native spent his first three seasons with the Black Knights as an assistant and was elevated to Associate Head Coach prior to the 2024-25 season. DiClemente helped lead Army to 25 wins a season ago, the second most in team history. In the first round of the Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT), the Black Knights defeated Bryant, 59-58, to win the program's first-ever Division I postseason contest.

Army was 66-55 overall and 43-29 in conference play during DiClemente's four seasons with the team. He coached the 2023 Patriot League Rookie of the Year and recipients of ten different all-league honors while with the Black Knights.

Prior to West Point, DiClemente was an assistant coach for the Adelphi women's basketball program. The Panthers were 56-32 overall and 38-21 in league play over four seasons. In the 2019-20 season, Adelphi finished the season ranked 11th nationally in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division II Coaches Poll with a 27-3 overall record. In the WBCA East Regional rankings, the Panthers finished first.

"Coach Tony comes to Towson with winning written all over him.  He adds a wealth of experience, knowledge and love for the game.  Our desire to pursue excellence aligns and he is a star in our business," added Coach Harper.

Nick Boboshko returns to Towson after most recently serving as an Assistant Coach and Director of Operations with Presbyterian College during the 2024-25 season. There he served as the travel and video coordinator and recruited student managers and practice players. The Maryland native also tracked in-game statistics, assisted with scouting report development and facilitated campus visits.

Prior to Presbyterian, Boboshko was a Graduate Assistant with Ottawa University in Kansas. There he helped with player development, gear inventory management and analyzed practice and game film.

Before Ottawa, Boboshko was a student intern and practice player for Towson from 2021-2023. In his first stint with the Tigers, he executed practice setup and take down, assisted with game file breakdown and helped with campus visits.

"We are elated to bring Nick back to Towson women's basketball.  He is hungry, hardworking, loyal and eager to make a positive impact on our program.  His drive and work ethic will propel him perfectly into this new role within our program," noted Coach Harper.
