TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's soccer team will face Hofstra on Sunday in what will be a pivotal game to determine the Tigers' fate in the CAA postseason. The Tigers currently sit on four points, tied for second in the North Division of the CAA. Hofstra, who has two points in the CAA after its sixth consecutive draw, sits in fourth place. A Towson loss would guarantee Hofstra to move into the all-important top three within the division. A Towson win or draw would put the Tigers on seven points, at least four points ahead of fourth place.
