TOWSON, Md. – Towson University swim & dive athletes
Shannon Parrau and
Sam Tennell have earned Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) weekly honors for the second week in a row after their performances against Drexel on Saturday. Parrau is the CAA Women's Diver of the Week while Tennell is the CAA Men's Diver of the Week, the CAA announced Tuesday.
Shannon Parrau earns her sixth diver of the week award of the season, most in the CAA, and the eleventh of her career. The senior swept the boards in the Tigers meet at Drexel first putting up a score of 327.68 to win the 3 meter dive. The senior followed that up by winning the 1 meter dive as well with a score of 279.83.
Sam Tennell gets his fourth diver of the week award of the season which increases his lead over all men's divers in the CAA. The senior was the only diver in the Tiger's meet at Drexel to break 300 on both boards as he won the 3 meter dive with a score of 320.48 and put up 307.05 on the 1 meter board to place second.
Towson is back in action on January 31
th when the Tigers host UMBC for a dual meet on senior day.
