TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's lacrosse team will be a top-15 team entering the first game, being at No. 15 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Preseason Coaches Poll.
 
Towson is also at No. 16 in the 2026 Inside Lacrosse KANE Preseason Media Poll.
 
The USILA Coaches Poll is voted on by head coaches across the country.
 
Towson is coming off its second undefeated Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) season, finishing 11-6 overall and its second straight CAA Tournament title to earn a berth into the NCAA Tournament.  Towson finished at No. 15 in the country last season, its second straight year finishing in the top-15.
 
Towson is scheduled to begin the season on Sunday, Feb. 1 at 12 p.m. vs. North Carolina, which is ranked at No. 8 in the USILA Coaches Poll and No. 6 in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
