WASHINGTON – Towson University attack Mikey Weisshaar has been named to the 2026 Tewaaraton Trophy Watch List, announced by the Tewaaraton Foundation on Tuesday.
 
The Tewaaraton Trophy is awarded to the top player in college lacrosse.  Weisshaar makes the watch list for the third straight year and was a nominee in 2025.
 
The 2026 Preseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse, USA Lacrosse Magazine and USILA and CAA Preseason Player of the Year started the season with four goals in yesterday's season opener vs. Johns Hopkins.  Last season, he earned 72 points off 48 goals and 24 assists.
 
Weisshaar is one of two players from the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) on the 2026 Tewaaraton Trophy Watch List.
