TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's and women's swimming and diving teams began the 2026 Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championships on Wednesday. Towson claimed six total medals on day one headlined by
Sam Tennell's gold in the men's 1 meter dive. Heading into day two, the Tigers sit in second place in the men's standings and third on the women's scoreboard.
200 Medley Relay:
Men's 1 Meter Dive:
- Towson got off to a red-hot start on the boards as two Tigers earned podium spots on the 1 meter dive.
- Sam Tennell scored 319.55 to earn his first career CAA Gold and Towson's first 1 meter dive gold since 2014.
- Aidan Clark claimed Towson's third bronze medal of the day as he placed third after scoring 294.75.
