PITTSBURGH – The Towson University gymnastics team earned stellar scores in three events, having at least a 49.1 score on floor, vault and bars in a third-place finish at Pittsburgh on Friday night.
The Tigers finished with a 195.025 team score, their second meet in a row with at least a 195. Towson's 49.175 in the vault was the highest score in that event, also having a 49.225 on floor and a 49.125 on bars.
Host Pittsburgh won the meet with a 196.300 while Ball State finished second at 195.750. Towson finished ahead of EAGL foe Temple, which had a 191.975.
Towson earned the top individual finishers on the vault, with
Adriana Hoffman and
Jocelyn Lannon tying at 9.875, while
Isabella Minervini tied for the top spot on bars at 9.925.

- Beam (rotation one) – 47.500
- On spot three, Natalie Lindgren hit a 9.750 to bolster the score.
- A couple of falls hurt Towson's score. Brissa Portillo finished strong for the Tigers with a 9.700.
- Floor (rotation two) – 49.225
- Looking to rebound, Towson got off to a strong start on the floor. The first four competitors earned at least a 9.8, including Carmella Calafati and Isabella DeCroo earning a 9.875.
- Adriana Hoffman finished with a 9.825 on anchor to secure the 49.225 score.
- Vault (rotation three) – 49.175
- Bars (rotation four) – 49.125
- Towson saw several 9.7+ scores to begin the bars, highlighted by a new career-high for Piper Slocum with a career-high 9.800.
- Towson's anchors finished well, beginning with Lauren Greene hitting a 9.875 on fifth spot then Isabella Minervini notching a 9.925.
