STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The Towson University track & field team competed in its third consecutive meet in Pennsylvania this weekend at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge, hosted by Penn State University.
Field Events
Senior Leeann Redlo reset her own program record in the high jump after clearing 1.81m. Redlo previously set the record nearly a year ago at the 2025 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships after clearing 1.80m on her first attempt. She also added a second-place finish in the long jump, recording a 5.87m leap to tie her personal best, which ranks second all-time in program history.
Senior Kiara Murray earned a silver medal in the triple jump with a 12.05m mark, ranking third all-time at Towson.
Track Events
In the 60m prelims, sophomore Stella Anani placed fifth out of 41 runners with a time of 7.71 to qualify for finals. Anani improved her time to 7.67 in the finals, finishing fifth overall.
In the mile, junior Baara Stewart continued her standout campaign for the Black & Gold after crossing the line in 4:54.81. Stewart's time reset the 16-year-old record previously held by Kaylin Gilmartin-Donohue.
Senior Layla James added another all-time performance in the 800m, clocking 2:13.24 to place third and rank third all-time in program history.
Freshman Bianca Durant placed fourth in the 200m with a time of 24.76.
In the 4x400m relay, the team of Christal Pommells, Kadidja Ouattara, Kelis Milburn and Deschanique Douglas finished fifth with a time of 3:54.48.

The Tigers are slated to travel to Lynchburg, Virginia for the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational hosted by Liberty University from February 13-14.
