BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The 2026 East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) champion Towson University cleaned up in the yearly awards, taking home four honors for student-athletes.
Isabella Minervini earned EAGL Gymnast of the Year,
Adriana Hoffman notched EAGL Specialist of the Year,
Natalie Lindgren is the EAGL Rookie of the Year while
Jocelyn Lannon picked up EAGL Rookie Specialist of the Year. Specialists are gymnasts who primarily compete in just one or two events.
The EAGL yearly awards were announced after the 2026 EAGL Championship. Towson earned the EAGL title for the third time in four seasons, notching its highest team score of the year at 196.375.
Minervini is the first Towson student-athlete to be EAGL Gymnast of the Year since Kristen Presutti won twice in 2002 and 2003. The senior from Fleming Island earned First Team All-EAGL in all four events and all-around, going into the EAGL Championship ranked No. 14 nationally on bars and No. 30 in all-around. She earned over 500 points this season and finished first in all-around and bars each nine times.
Hoffman is Towson's first-ever EAGL Specialist of the Year with the award starting in 2020. The senior from Christiansburg, Virginia was one of only two athletes, the other being Minervini, to rank in the top-three in the league in two events: vault and floor, the lone two events Hoffman competes in. Hoffman earned a 9.8+ score 16 times, having over a 9.825 qualifying score in each vault and floor to earn First Team All-EAGL in each.
Lindgren is Towson's third EAGL Rookie of the Year since 2021. The freshman from Fair Haven, New Jersey was a fixture in three events, earning over 310 points and ranking in the top-20 in EAGL on beam, floor and bars, being the highest-ranked EAGL rookie in the first two events. The 2026 Second Team All-EAGL on beam and floor won EAGL Rookie of the Week three times.
Lannon earns Towson's second EAGL Rookie Specialist of the Year in a row, with
Ava Harper winning last season. The only freshman to rank in the top-three in EAGL in any event, the rookie from Sutton, Massachusetts earned All-EAGL First Team on vault after earning at least a 9.7 on the vault in all 13 regular season meets, including six 9.8+ scores.
The awards were nominated and voted on my league's head coaches.
