Aung in Sixth Place After Day One in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, VA. – Towson men's golf sits in eighth place at 19-over par after the first day of the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate. The Tigers shot +7 in the first round and +12 in the second round. Sky Aung is in sixth place at one-under par after the first two rounds.

Aung carded an even par front and back nine in round one. Aung started the day on hole eight and finished with birdies on two of his final four holes in round one. In his second round, Aung birdied three of his final six holes to go one-under par on the day. He continued his season long success on the second round of the day, now moving to one-over par on the second round of the day during the 2025-26 season. Aung also shot three-under par on his personal back nine on the day, also moving him to one-over par this season on his personal back nine.

Ariihau Faana shot one-under par in the second round with two birdies on holes three and six. Faana carded two-over par on the first day, good for 23rd place on the day.

The third and final round is set for tomorrow with the shotgun start commencing at 8:30 a.m. Towson will start on holes 8-10.
