TOWSON, Md. – The season will continue for six Towson University gymnasts as they were selected as NCAA Individual Competitors for the Baton Rouge Regionals.
Isabella Minervini will return as an all-around competitor, her second straight season with this honor. The other five will compete as NCAA individuals for the first time:
Polina Belanovski and
Jocelyn Lannon on vault,
Isabella DeCroo and
Adriana Hoffman on floor and
Celia Trotter on balance beam.
Four Tigers, Belanovski, Hoffman, Minervini, and Trotter, have been to NCAAs before with Towson as a team while DeCroo and Lannon enter for the first time.
These six will compete during the NCAA Second Round in Baton Rouge on April 2. The regional is hosted by Louisiana State University.
Individual participants are selected from programs which did not qualify as teams for the tournament. The individuals were selected based on their National Qualifying Scores (NQS) in their respective events.
These six head to the Baton Rouge regional after leading Towson to the 2026 EAGL Championship on Saturday, the program's third title in four years. Towson finished 41
st overall in the Road to Nationals (RTN) rankings.
Minervini, the 2026 EAGL Gymnast of the Year and five-time All-EAGL First Team gymnast this year, finished 34
th nationally in all-around with a 39.290, also earning 14
th nationally on bars with a 9.930. The senior from Fleming Island, Florida has earned nine all-around victories at meets this year.
Belanovski, 2026 All-EAGL First Team on vault and all-around, tied for 19
th in the south east region on the vault at 9.835. The senior from Brookfield, Wisconsin had a NQS in vault at the highest among all EAGL gymnasts, finishing on the podium on vault four times this year.
Lannon, the 2026 EAGL Rookie Specialist of the Year, is a First Team All-EAGL vaulter plus tied for first in the event in the EAGL Championship. From Sutton, Massachusetts, her championship first-place finish on the vault was the fourth time winning that event this season, tying for 19
th in the south east region with a 9.835.
DeCroo earned All-EAGL First Team floor and vault in her second year with the Tigers. Ranking tied for 22
nd in the south east region on floor with a 9.870 NQS, the senior from Warrenton, Virginia had a combined 10 podium finishes this year.
Hoffman, the 2026 EAGL Specialist of the Year and All-EAGL First Team on floor, tied for 22
nd in the south east region on floor with a 9.870 NQS. The senior from Christiansburg, Virginia finished on the podium eight times this year.
Trotter, 2026 All-EAGL First Team beam, heads to regionals after tying for 26
th in the south east region on beam at 9.835 NQS. The senior from Nashville, Tennessee stands with seven 9.8+ beam performances.
