TOWSON, Md. – The Towson women's golf team will compete in its second tournament of the spring schedule when it travels to Morganton, N.C. to compete in the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate at the Mimosa Hills Golf Club hosted by Appalachian State.
The Tigers will be starting
Victoriah Kuranga,
Grace Oristian,
Kanchana Kanchanaphiboon,
Payton Balliet and Kaylin Doss.
Kyndall Campbell will be competing as an individual.
The two-day event will feature two rounds on Monday with the final, third round on Tuesday. On both days there will be shotgun starts. Monday starts at 9 a.m. Tuesday starts at 9:30 a.m.
Towson is coming off a fifth-place finish as a team last weekend. Kuranga placed eighth in the tournament with a three-round total of 13-over par.
Oristian placed 21st in last week's tournament shooting 19-over par. Kanchanaphiboon finished 33rd, coming into the clubhouse at 23-over par. Balliet finished 43rd overall at 27-over par.
Doss did not compete last weekend. This will be her first tournament of the year.
Campbell got in her first round of golf last weekend, where she carded two birdies and shot 13-over par.
The Tigers will conclude their stretch of three tournaments in three weeks following this weekend when they return to North Carolina for the Ironwood Invitational.
