BALTIMORE, Md. - The Towson University track & field team took a short trip to Baltimore on Friday to compete on the first day of the Legacy Meet, hosted by Morgan State.
The first day of the meet included only field events, with Towson's Aleah Schwartz, Ashley Umhoefer, Leeann Redlo and Desirae Hernandez competing in the Javelin throw.
Schwartz was the top finisher for the Black & Gold in the event, taking second place after a personal-best 34.98m mark. Umhoefer was the team's next highest finisher with a throw of 21.40m, good enough for 14th place.
