New York, N.Y. – Former Towson All-American Jerrelle Benimon was one of 20 players selected to participate in the 2015 NBA D-League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire.  The game, which tips off at 2:30 p.m. ET at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Sunday, Feb. 15, will air live on NBA TV.
 
Benimon, who is a member of the Idaho Stampede, will play for the Western Conference.  In his first season as a professional, he is averaging 20.4 points, 10.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.  He is among the league leaders in rebounding (4^th), field-goal percentage (5^th) and scoring (7^th).
 
He ranks second on the team in scoring, while leading the team in rebounding.  Benimon has scored in double figures in all 31 games this season and has recorded 17 double-doubles and one triple-double.  He scored a career-high 36 points on Christmas Day, and has twice pulled down 18 rebounds in a game.
