Angie Benson had a monster performance in goal for the Tigers against No. 3 Florida. She finished the game with a career-high 17 saves and a .567 save percentage. Benson matched her previous career-high with nine saves in the first half against the Gators, many of which came on point-blank shots. Benson became the second Tiger goalie to finish with at least 10 saves in a game this season (Kiley Keating-10 at Georgetown). Her 17 saves against the Gators were the most by a Tiger goalkeeper since Mary Teeters had 20 against UMBC in 2011. Her 17 saves against Florida were the most by a CAA goalie this season and should put her tied for seventh in the NCAA with the third most saves by a goalie this season.
