Matt McKenney swam in two individual record-setting events and as a member of four school record-setting relays to help the Tigers finish second at the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Swimming and Diving Championship meet. The Tigers finish was their highest postseason finish since 2000-01.
McKenney won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:45.68, a CAA meet record and school record. He finished fourth in the 100-yard butterfly with a school record time of 47:74. He also earned bronze in the 500-yard freestyle.
McKenney swam on four school record-setting relays; the 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard medley relay, the 400-yard freestyle relay and the 800-yard freestyle relay.
