TOWSON, Md. - Junior attacker Jess Dunn scored a career-high four goals to lead the 12th-ranked Tigers (4-0) to their fourth straight win, a 14-4 non-conference victory over George Washington University (2-5) at rain-soaked Johnny Unitas® Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Dunn scored three of her goals in the first half as the Tigers sprinted out to a 10-2 half-time lead en route to their third straight win over the Colonials.
"The weather was pretty tough today, but I thought we played well today," Towson Coach Missy Doherty said. "Our defense did a good job of causing turnovers and we have a lot of speed and talent on the offense."

With 21:06 remaining, sophomore attacker Megan Seidman scored off a feed from freshman Hannah McLaughlin to narrow the margin to 5-2.
But, the Tigers answered by scoring eight consecutive goals over a 22-minute span to take a commanding 12-2 advantage early in the second half. Dunn scored twice during the spurt while freshman midfielder Ashley Waldron added a goal with two assists.
With 17:01 remaining, McLaughlin ended a 34-minute scoring drought for the Colonials with her third goal of the season, an unassisted marker past junior goalkeeper Kristy Hankinson.
Sophomore midfielder Katie Cloud and freshman attacker Ashleigh Rohrback upped the Tiger advantage to 14-3 before freshman midfielder Abby Sneeringer closed out the scoring with the first goal of her career with 4:21 left.
While Dunn recorded her second "hat trick" of the season, Waldron added a goal with two assists in the victory for the Tigers. Kendall contributed a pair of goals as ten different Tigers scored a goal.
