Name: Gerry Sandusky, '83
Title: Sports Director
Employer: WBAL-TV 11

What are you doing right now?
I am sports director for WBAL-TV 11, the voice of the Baltimore Ravens and I am president of The Sandusky Group, a communications consulting firm specializing in media coaching and presentation skills coaching

What is your fondest Tiger moment?
Sitting on the football bus rides and hosting a make believe post-game show on the back of the bus. It's why they took me on road trips. I think I was the fourth string tight end on a team with only three tight ends, but I kept the bus rides entertaining by pretending we were doing radio and TV post-game shows.

Why do you give back to Towson University?
Towson is where I started to find my way in life and where I learned many of the skills and lessons that I rely on to this day. Sometimes when I drive by Towson, I think back to when I walked that campus every day and saw my own universe of knowledge, experience, and relationships open up wider than I could have ever imagined. I want other young people to have that same magnificent experience at Towson. My daughter, Katy, recently graduated from Towson in December. She had as much of a remarkable experience at Towson as I did. We want to share that with others.

What does the Tiger Club mean to you?
It means a focused way to connect the University's athletic department with alumni and the community in way that helps to elevate the profile of both athletics and the University. I see the Tiger Club as a power tool to help the community and the country discover one of the best kept secrets in America, Towson University.
