| @Towson_MSOC Drops 3-0 Decision To Patriots

TOWSON, Md. - The George Mason Patriots got two second half goals from Taylor Morgan and earned a 3-0 Colonial Athletic Association victory over the Tigers on Wednesday afternoon at the Tiger Soccer Complex.

Morgan, who entered the game tied for the CAA lead with nine goals, began the second half with two goals in the first 12 minutes to give the Patriots a comfortable 3-0 advantage.

"He's a strong player and we didn't deal with him the way we needed to," said Towson head coach Frank Olszewski. "We didn't execute and we didn't concentrate well enough."

George Mason (10-4 overall, 3-3 CAA) scored the game's first goal when John Gardner scored his first goal of the season on a cross from Zak Haapaoja with less than five minutes remaining in the first half.

Although the Tigers (4-8-1, 2-4-1 CAA) were outshot 16-7 in the game, they did hold a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks. Josh Danza led the team with three shots, while Olakunle Banjo added two.

Towson freshman goalkeeper Felix Petermann set a season-high with seven saves.

The Tigers will next head to Old Dominion for a match against the Monarchs Saturday beginning at 7 p.m.
