TOWSON, Md. - Senior Olivia Turner scored a career-high four goals but it was not enough as the Towson University women's lacrosse team fell to No. 1 Maryland on Tuesday night in Unitas Stadium.
Maryland (12-0) used a 5-0 run to start the second half and broke open a one-goal game en route to the victory.
Turner had her second hat trick of the season, with three goals in the first half, as the Tigers trailed 6-5 at the half. Ashleigh Rohrback and Jackie LaMonica each had a goal and two assists in the game.
