TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's gymnastics team will travel to Texas Woman's University for a quad meet on Sunday afternoon, featuring San Jose State and Centenary. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. ET at Kitty Magee Arena.

The Tigers improved to 3-3 after hosting a quad meet for their home-opener last weekend. Towson scored 194.525 points to finish second among the four teams, falling to University of North Carolina (195.350) and defeating West Chester (188.025) and William & Mary (190.900). The Tigers' total team score was their highest of the season.

Towson excelled on floor, winning the event and having three gymnasts set a new or tie a career-high.
Nicolette Vignola tied for first-place overall for the event after scoring a career-high 9.825
. Samantha Lutz tied her career-high at 9.775 while
Lauren Cahalan also tied her career-high at 9.625.

Vignola set another career-high during the meet on vault, recording a 9.725. Lutz erased her previous career-high of 9.525 after earning a 9.600 on vault. Cahalan earned a career-high on beam with a 9.825.

On bars, the Tigers recorded an outstanding four career-highs.
Tyra McKeller led the Towson team with a score of 9.850, a career-high while
Vicki Vesecky earned a career-high 9.825.
Lydia Thompson recorded a career-high 9.775 while
Noelle Harada grabbed a career-high with a 9.775 as well.

Towson will make the trip to the University of New Hampshire for a quad meet with West Virginia and Brown on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m.
