WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Towson women's swimming and diving program defeated George Washington 192-102 in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers won 10 events and had 32 top-three finishes.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Ashley Illenye won the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:24.69 followed by Ryan Ulrich in second-place (10:40.40).
- Amanda Rosa earned a victory in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:06.60. Sara Lacusky placed third with at time of 1:08.20.
- Macey Arnold won the 50-yard freestyle in 24.59 while Kara Powell finished third (25.34). Arnold and Powell earned matching finishes in the 100-yard freestyle, timing 52.97 and 55.21, respectively.
- Arnold won the 500-yard freestyle in 5:03.60 as Hannah Snyder was the runner-up (5:07.20).
- Natalie Obando took first-place in the 200-yard backstroke (2:04.93) while Ulrich placed third (2:12.98).
- Jenna Van Camp won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:21.23. Rosa finished third with a time of 2:29.81.
- Illenye was the runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle, timing 1:55.27. Melissa Toy finished third in the event (1:55.71).
- Charlotte Holz finished second in the 100-yard backstroke (58.21) while Obando placed third (59.35).
- The Tigers took second through fourth-pace in the 100-yard butterfly. Holz finished second (58.80), Goss in third-place (59.47) and Illenye in fourth-place (59.48).
- Holz was the runner-up in the 200-yard individual medley (2:06.60) while Van Camp placed third (2:11.83) and Snyder in fourth (2:12.24).
- Towson swept second through fifth-place in the 200-yard butterfly. Grace Hansen was the runner-up (2:11.56) followed by Tara Goss (2:11.68), Emily Rezac (2:14.39) and Cami Andreini (2:17.16).
- The Tigers won the 200-yard medley relay as Holz, Van Camp, Goss and Arnold combined for a time of 1:47.17.
- The 400-yard freestyle relay earned an exhibition time of 3:36.25. Toy, Ulrich, Powell and Corie Morton combined for the time.
- On the diving boards, Molly Arceri won the one-meter event (286.43) while Natalee Szopo won the three-meter event (292.73).

QUOTABLE"This was a great way for our team to finish the dual meet season this fall," said head coach
Pat Mead. "George Washington swam very well and they made our team step up to the challenge and pull out victories for both our teams. Our women's team was led by

The Tigers will compete next at the Pittsburgh Invite from Nov. 20-22. The meet will be held at the Trees Pool and feature eight schools.
