SCOUTING THE COUGARS: College of Charleston has won two of its last three contests following a 55-51 win over William & Mary on Friday night.
Kelsey Booth drained a three-pointer with 10 seconds left that put the Cougars ahead for good against the Tribe. College of Charleston is led by junior
Breanna Bolden. Bolden contributes a team-high 14.2 points and 7.2 rebounds. She also has 50 steals on the season.
Jackie Luna-Castro is adding 10.6 points per game and a team-high 20 blocks.
SERIES HISTORY: Towson gets a chance to see one of the two remaining Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) teams it has yet to face Sunday. The Tigers lead the all-time series with the Cougars, 5-1. Towson swept the season series with the Cougars last season and then earned its first CAA Tournament win since 2008-09 with a 79-70 win over the Cougars in the first round action.

Raven Bankston led the Tigers with a game-high 22 points on Friday night. It was Bankston's seventh 20+ point performance of the season. She ranks tied for second in the CAA in 20+ point performances.
I'LL TAKE THAT: Sunday's game matches the top two players in the CAA for steals per game against each other. College of Charleston's
Breanna Bolden ranks first in the CAA while averaging 2.8 steals per game. Towson junior guard
Raven Bankston is ranked second in the CAA while averaging 2.5 steals per game. Both players are tied for the CAA lead after recording seven steals in a game once this season.
GETTING HELP FROM THE BENCH: The Tigers won the battle of the bench points on Friday night at UNCW. Towson recorded 16 bench points while UNCW had just one. Freshman guard
Sianni Martin led the Tigers efforts off the bench with five points. The Tigers have now won the battle of the bench points in nine games this season.
WE'LL TAKE THE CHARITY: The Tigers continue to shoot the ball well from the charity stripe especially since CAA play began. Towson was 14-for-16 (87.5%) from the foul line on Friday night at UNCW. It was the Tigers' best free throw percentage of the season when they made more than 10 free throws. Junior guard
Raven Bankston was a perfect 8-for-8 from the foul line at UNCW. In eight CAA contests, the Tigers are shooting 72.9% (94-of-129). During CAA play, Bankston is 37-for-42 (88.1%) from the charity stripe which ranks first in CAA-only games. The Tigers' success at the line in CAA play has raised their season average at the foul line to 69.1% (230-of-333). Senior guard
Dominique Johnson is 42-of-48 (87.5%) from the charity stripe this season. She leads the CAA in that category. Bankston is 81-of-97 (83.5%) from the foul line this year. She ranks third in the CAA.
MORE FROM THE SWIPE SHOW: The Tigers recorded eight steals to UNCW's five swipes on Friday night. Seven Tigers recorded at least one steal in the game while freshman guard
Sianni Martin led the way with two steals. The Tigers have now recorded more steals than their opponents in 14 of 19 games this season. Five Tigers have recorded 10 or more steals this year. Junior guard
Raven Bankston leads the way with 46 steals while Martin is currently second with 27 swipes. Towson ranks second in the CAA and is one two CAA squads averaging better than 8.0 steals per game (8.7).
UP NEXT: Following Sunday's contest the Tigers return to SECU Arena for a pair of games. Towson hosts Delaware on Friday, Feb. 5 and Hofstra on Sunday, Feb. 7 in a special 1 p.m. start.
