TOWSON, Md. – The Towson men's swimming and diving program defeated McDaniel 152-94 in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers won eight events and posted the top time in all but two events.

HOW IT HAPPENED (SWIMMING)- Towson opened the meet with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay as Matt McKenney, Joel Todd, Zach Brech and Sean Patterson combined for a time of 1:32.90.
- The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Will Dougherty, Aaron Magazine, Nick Essing and Andrew Snyder timed 3:17.98. The Tigers' relay team posted the fastest time in the event, swimming exhibition.
- Nick Breschi earned two event victories, winning the 100-yard freestyle (47.69) and 200-yard freestyle (1:43.38).
- Noah Pritchard won both the 100-yard backstroke (52.06) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:12.33). His time in the 100-yard backstroke was a season-best.
- Todd swam a season-best 58.26 to earn a victory in the 100-yard breaststroke.
- Stefan Keller won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:56.45.
- Mike Johnson took first-place in the 50-yard freestyle (22.67).
- Colin Roddy timed 1:57.81 to win the 200-yard backstroke.
- Zach Bishop swam exhibition in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing with the fastest time for the event (52.98).
- McKenney timed 1:56.33, the fastest time in the 200-yard individual medley, as he swam exhibition.
- Snyder was the runner-up in the 500-yard freestyle (4:55.88) and the 1000-yard freestyle (10:01.02).

HOW IT HAPPENED (DIVING)- Jake Casey won both the one-meter (157.95) and three-meter (162.00) diving events for the Tigers.

Towson heads to Virginia Tech for a two-day meet that also features Virginia. Action begins Friday, January 15 at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m.
