Fan It Forward VIP – Brandon Ittner

"All-In" with Football & B-Ball Season Tickets

Working during the day and taking classes at night didn't leave Brandon with a ton of time to take in many Tigers games. But since Brandon graduated in 2009, Rob Ambrose took over the helm for Towson football. And since 2011, the Tigers have gone 41-28, made the playoffs twice, won the Colonial Athletic Conference (CAA) twice, and in 2013 went all the way to the FCS Championship Game.

In 2016, Brandon decided he was ready to make up for lost time and go all-in getting season tickets for both Towson football and men's basketball.

"I would watch games on TV, but got really excited in 2013 with Terrence West and when the football team went on that great playoff run. This year, I finally decided I wanted to get out and see some games in person and give back."

And Brandon hasn't been disappointed. In his first game, Brandon was treated to a 473-yard offensive attack and a dramatic 25-point comeback victory over St. Francis. "To get that in-stadium college football experience, some people think you need to pay a lot of money or travel hours away to somewhere like Penn State (where Brandon tries to catch a game at least once a year). Unitas Stadium has this intimate feel, but still gets LOUD."

Getting that intimate feel played a big part in Brandon's decision to get season tickets this year. "I could pick seats close to the field and the court and feel like I'm right there with the players and the coaches."

Being a Penn State fan, Brandon knows a little something about competitive football, and Towson delivers the level of performance he's come to expect from his college football games. "It's serious competition. The CAA is a tough conference, and Towson keeps attracting those high-level athletes. Top players from across the country want to come and play here."

Brandon's wife, brother and nephew, Kaleb, are all on the short list of who he'll Fan It Forward to this Saturday. Whoever he chooses, he'll let them know, they better Bring Their ROAR!
