SCOUTING THE DRAGONS: Drexel snapped a two-game losing streak with a 66-60 victory over UNCW on Sunday.

Sarah Curran leads the Dragons on both ends of the court. Curran is averaging 15.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
Rachel Pearson is contributing 12.3 points per game.
Meghan Creighton has dished out 145 assists while contributing 6.7 points per game.
SERIES HISTORY: Towson finally gets a chance to face the one Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) opponent it has yet to see this season. The Tigers and Dragons will be meeting for the 69th time in a series that Drexel holds a 49-19 advantage. The Dragons have won 12 straight over the Tigers, including a 50-45 win when the two squads met last year on March 1. Towson will be looking for its first win in the series since the 2009-10 season Friday.
WELCOME HOME: Friday's game is a homecoming for Towson freshmen
Sianni Martin and
AJ Timbers. The guard duo are from Philadelphia and were high school teammates at Neumann Gorretti H.S. where they won a state championship and were the number one high school team in the country. Martin has appeared in all 24 games this season and is averaging 10.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. Timbers has seen time in 14 games and has given the Tigers a three-point threat off the bench.
WELCOME TO THE BLOCK PARTY: Towson blocked a season-high seven shots in Sunday's win over College of Charleston. It was the most blocks for the Tigers in a game since they had nine in the win over Delaware last January. Five Tigers recorded at least one block against College of Charleston. That group was led by freshman forward
Brittany Tarr, who had a career-high three swipes. The Tigers have now recorded 24 of their 59 blocked shots in the last seven games.
GOING DEEP: One of the keys to success for the Tigers in Sunday's win over College of Charleston was hitting three-pointers. Towson connected on seven three-pointers in the game. That was the team's most three-pointers in a game since the Tigers hit seven at Hofstra on Jan. 24. The Tigers posted their best three-point percentage of the season against the Cougars, 53.8% (7-for-13). Senior guard
Dominique Johnson hit four triples in the game while freshman guard
Sianni Martin had the other three.
THE SWIPE SHOW: The Tigers have made use of their quick hands throughout the season. Towson had 13 steals in the win over College of Charleston. It marked the second straight game and 10th time this season the Tigers have recorded double digit steals in a game. Freshman guard
Sianni Martin and redshirt sophomore guard
Raine Bankston led the Tigers efforts against College of Charleston with four steals each. Towson now has 213 steals on the season, which surpasses its steals total from a year ago. Seven Tigers have recorded at least 10 steals this season. That group is led by junior guard
Raven Bankston who has 57 steals. Bankston needs three more steals to become the first Tiger since
Tanisha McTiller (2013-14) to record 60 or more steals in a season. The Tigers rank second in the CAA while averaging 8.9 steals per game.
UP NEXT: Towson visits James Madison on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m.
