Kaitlyn Montalbano led the Tigers with three goals against the Gators while defensively senior midfielder
Breanna Hamm had two ground balls, three draw controls and two caused turnovers. Montalbano leads the Tigers on the season with 23 points on 15 goals and eight assists. Freshman attacker

Towson-Penn Series History: The Tigers and Quakers are meeting for just the fourth time ever. Penn has won each of the last three meetings including a 12-5 victory last year when the two teams met in Franklin Field. In that game the Quakers jumped out to a 9-2 half time advantage and cruised to victory.
Andi Raymond led Towson with two goals in the game while

Lely DeSimone each had hat tricks for the Quakers.
I'm Honored: A pair of Tigers were honored as the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) announced its players of the week on Monday. Sophomore midfielder
Kaitlyn Montalbano was named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week. She had a career-high five ground balls, a career-high four draw controls and two caused
turnovers to go along with three goals and three assists in the win over Stetson. Montalbano was honored for the first time this season. Freshman attacker
Carly Tellekamp picked up her third CAA Rookie of the Week award on Monday. Tellekamp had a career-high four goals in the win over Stetson. She recorded her second straight and third game-winning goal of the year while adding a ground ball.
Hats Off to You: Sophomore midfielder
Kaitlyn Montalbano led the team with three goals on Monday night at Florida. It was Montalbano's second straight game with a hat trick and third of the season. She now has six career hat tricks.
In the Polls: The Tigers rose in one poll and held steady in the other two as the national rankings were released on Monday. Towson continued its rise in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) poll, coming in at No. 17 this week after being No. 18 last week. The Tigers held their ranking at No. 15 in both the ILWomen.com Media poll and the Nike/Lacrosse Magazine poll this week.
Just the Way We Drew It up: Senior midfielder
Breanna Hamm had three draw controls in Monday's contest at Florida. That raised her season total to 11 draw controls and her career total to 134 draw controls. Hamm currently sits fourth in career history at Towson for draw controls. She needs seven more draw controls to move into a tie with
Stephanie Howell (141, 2001-04) for third place on the career draw controls list at Towson.
What's Next? Towson is back in action when CAA play begins on Saturday, Mar. 26. The Tigers will welcome Delaware to Unitas Stadium for the final doubleheader of the year with the men's team. However, this time the ladies take the field first with opening draw at 12 noon.
