• The Tigers host two opponents from the Commonwealth of Virginia this weekend beginning with CAA foe William & Mary on Friday.

SCOUTING WILLIAM & MARY
• The Tribe enter Friday's game having won three-straight, outscoring their opponents, 16-1.
• William & Mary is 3-1 on the road this season, including 2-0 in neutral site contests against Columbia and UC Davis. The Tribe's one loss came at No. 5 Virginia while their win came at No. 7 Michigan.
• William & Mary went 2-0 against CAA competition last week with wins over Hofstra and Northeastern, marking the team's first 2-0 start in league play since 2006.
• The Tribe, who boasts the nation's 13th hardest schedule, are led by the duo of Cammie Lloyd and Emma MacLeod who each have 20 points this season. Lloyd leads the team with nine goals while MacLeod has eight. Lloyd also leads the team with four assists.
• Defensively, Connor Morgan owns a 1.87 goals against average and a .747 saves percentage with two shutouts. Erin Menges has made four defensive saves.
WILLIAM & MARY SERIES HISTORY
• Friday will mark the 24th meeting between the Tigers and Tribe with William & Mary holding a 20-3 series lead.
• Despite the huge advantage in the series for the Tribe, Towson has held its own over the last 10 meetings. The Tigers have posted all three of their wins in the series since 2007. During that time, seven contests have been decided by two goals or less, including three by just one goal.
• Towson is 2-3 in the last five games at Unitas Stadium.
LAST GAME AGAINST WILLIAM & MARY

Emilee Woodall made a then, career-high 16 saves, but the Tigers fell on the road at Busch Field a year ago, 8-1.
• Towson trailed by just a 3-1 margin at the half before the Tribe erupted for five second-half goals.
• Erin Menges and Annie Snead each finished with five points on two goals and one assist. Estelle Huges also scored twice.
SCOUTING VCU
• After winning six-straight, the Rams have lost back-to-back home games against No. 21 Saint Joseph's and Appalachian State heading into Friday night's A-10 contest at UMass.
• VCU is 4-1 on the road this season with its only loss coming at Longwood back on September 1.
• The Rams are led by Emily McNamara who leads the team with 10 goals and 24 points. Svea Sturm is second with six goals while Spencer Tossone and Natalie Bohmke lead the team with five assists each.
• Defensively, Chessa Kownurko has posted a 1.40 goals against average and .769 saves percentage with two shutouts in 11 games this year. VCU has yet to make a defensive save.
VCU SERIES HISTORY
• Sunday marks the 21st meeting between the Tigers and Rams with VCU holding a 15-5 lead in the series.
• The series has been very competitive with 10 of the previous 20 games decided by just one goal, including four in overtime.
• Towson is 2-3 in the last five meetings at Unitas Stadium.
• From 2002-11, both teams were members of the CAA before the Rams left for the Atlantic 10.

• Towson has played against some of the top teams in the country this season. In the latest NCAA toughest schedule report, the Tigers have the 26th toughest schedule out of 78 teams in Division I this season. The combined record of the team's 18 opponents this season is 105-85.
• Towson has the eighth-hardest remaining schedule as its final six opponents have a combined record of 42-24 with three of the teams currently ranked: No. 18 William & Mary, No. 7 Delaware, No. 16 James Madison.
FOUNDATION FOR THE FUTURE
• Towson boasts 27 players on its 2017 roster, 12 of which are true freshmen.
• The freshmen have totaled 103 games played, 61 games started and 16 of the team's 25 points (64 percent). They have also scored seven of the team's 10 goals.

• Senior
Emilee Woodall leads the nation in saves per game with an 11.17 average. She also leads the CAA with a .757 save percentage.
• Woodall is the active leader in career saves in Division I with 508 which are also fourth all-time in the CAA.
• Earlier this season, she broke a 34-year old school record for saves in a single game with 34 at No. 11 Maryland. That is the highest total in Division I this season.
