BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. – The Towson University men's golf team fired a 307 in the first round of the Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational at the soggy Pete Dye Golf Club Monday afternoon.
 
Play was called due to darkness. Golfers will resume round two at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow and continue onto round three.
 
How It Happened

• William Bachelor led the Tigers in the first round with a two-over 74.
• Bachelor birded the par-5 58-yard fifth hole.
• Spencer Alexander carded a three-over 75 for the Tigers.
• Alexnder and Nakarin Kornpatlerdsin led Towson with two birdies each.
• Kobdech Rodrat finished the first round with a five-over 77.
