WESTFIELD, N.J. - The Towson University men's golf team completed the final round of the Georgetown Intercollegiate on Tuesday. After battling windy and rainy conditions, the Tigers posted a combined score of 613 (+45) on the field.
Georgetown claimed the tournament title after tallying 589 (+21), followed by Harvard in second place at 597 (+29). William & Mary rounded out the podium in third place, shooting a combined 599 (+31).
Senior Jai Sheth led the Tigers throughout the tournament; finishing tied for sixth place after carding 73 (+2) in the second round.
Sky Aung shot 74 (+3) on the final day of play to finish tied for 17th place. Aung's score was supported by three birdies.
Ariihau Faana posted an improved 72 (+1) in the second round, marking the best round of the day from a Tiger. Faana finished tied for 34th place.
Michael Matheson (84, +13) finished tied for 47th.
