JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Towson University men's golf team wrapped up the final round of the Red Flash Invitational on Tuesday. The Tigers placed sixth after rounds of 276-282-292 for a combined score of 850 (+10).
High Point claimed the tournament title after accumulating a total of 831 (-9) on the course. Howard moved up from yesterday's finish to place second with a score of 841 (+1). Mount St. Mary's rounds out the podium in third after tallying 842 (+2).
Junior Sky Aung jumped 14 spots on the leaderboard to secure an 8th place finish after shooting 68 (-2) in the third round, supported by four birdies.
Michael Matheson (74, +4) and Jai Sheth (76, +6) finished tied for 18th place.
Ariihau Faana posted a 74 (+4) in the final round to tie for 30th place. Matthew Gonnello capped Towson's lineup, tying for 54th place after carding 78 (+8) in the third round.
